GIG portfolio company, Blueleaf Energy, partners with SunAsia to develop 1.25 GW solar projects in the Philippines

GIG portfolio company, Blue Leaf Energy Asia Pte Ltd (“Blueleaf Energy”), has announced a partnership with SunAsia to co-develop 1.25 GW of solar projects in Luzon, Philippines.

The partnership coincides with the forecast growth of the Philippine’s solar energy market. The country is increasingly focused on renewable energy, and targets the delivery of an additional 10 GW of solar energy by 2030, which would comprise in excess of 20% of its energy mix.
