Appointment of investment banking renewables specialist

The UK Green Investment Bank (GIB) today announces the appointment of Robert Mansley as Managing Director, Capital Markets.

Robert was previously a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley where he was Head of European Renewables in the Global Power & Utilities Group in Investment Banking based in London.

Prior to this he worked for ten years at Credit Suisse in its European Power & Utilities team where he was also Head of European Renewables.

Robert started his career at HSBC Investment Bank in the Global Energy Utilities Group.

Robert has executed over 40 transactions worth in excess of $30bn in the power, utility and renewables sectors covering M&A, IPOs, equity issues & private placements, debt capital markets, restructuring and derivatives.

At the Green Investment Bank Robert will have responsibility for developing capital market opportunities and third party investor relationships within the sector.
