UK Green Investment Bank strengthens management team with appointment of Group Operations Director

The UK Green Investment Bank today announced the appointment of the new Group Operations Director, Rob Cormie.

Rob will be based at the bank's headquarters in Edinburgh.

The UK Green Investment Bank today announced the appointment of the new Group Operations Director, Rob Cormie. Rob will be based at the bank's headquarters in Edinburgh.

Rob joins the UK Green Investment Bank from renewable finance advisory firm, Edinburgh Advisers LLP, where he was a founding partner.

Rob will be responsible for the key operations of the bank, including HR, IT and marketing and communications.

Rob will also oversee the team providing technical input into each deal as well as having full responsibility for the management and reporting of the green impact that the bank will make as part of its investment strategy.

In addition to his group operations role, Rob will be responsible for originating transactions in Scotland and acting as a key interface, alongside the Chair and CEO, with the government and other key stakeholders to ensure that the bank plays a key part in the success of the Scottish renewable energy industry.

Rob Cormie will take up his post in November 2012.
